Anniversary publication

For the 50th anniversary of our foundation we published the book «Uplift - The history of the Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation 1969 - 2019». On 208 pages, the book offers an insight into our funding activities and provides an unusually open view of the history and work of our foundation.

Jubilee Exhibition

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Johnson Foundation, a poster installation with 10 large-scale images from supported organizations was exhibited from 19 – 28 August 2019 on the Casinoplatz in Bern. From female musicians of the Bernese Jazzwerkstatt to minesweepers in Angola, the posters provided unusual insights into our support sectors: culture, humanitarian aid, medical research and education.
