Use of financial contributions
The amounts granted may be used solely to cover the expenses of the project as previously agreed. These contributions must be used as proposed in the original application. If a part of the amount is to be used for a purpose not previously agreed upon, the permission of the Foundation must be obtained in advance.

Commencement of the project
The commencement of the project is according to the time schedule given in the project proposal. If the commencement of the project is delayed, the Foundation must be informed immediately. In this case, the payment schedules will be postponed until the project actually starts. Any later instalments of funds will also be postponed accordingly.

Later alterations to the project
Later alterations to the project must be reported to the Foundation. The Foundations examines any such changes with respect to the funding criteria and gives its consent, or not, as the case may be.

Naming the Foundation
In publications or printed advertising matter, mention must be made of the Foundation's support for the project concerned in a suitable manner (logo and/or text). The logo is available in various formats (eps, jpeg, tif) und web und print resolutions from our download page.

Financing proof
As a rule, the Foundation provides part-finance for projects. It reserves the right to pay the agreed part-finance only after proof that the balance of the financing is guaranteed.

Payment of contribution funds
The Foundation's contributions are paid onto a bank account indicated by and in the name of the recipient institution. No payments will be made onto private bank accounts.

Unused funds
Contributions which have been paid out but not used shall be paid back at the end of the project.

Value Added Tax
The contributions paid by the Foundation are not liable for Value Added Tax (Value Added Tax Regulations dated 1st January 2001). Apart from being named, the Foundation expects no other service in return.

Reporting
Form and deadline for reporting are laid down in the confirmation of the support contribution. In any case, after completion of the project, a final report on results must be submitted. A financial report must also be submitted.
