In the Support Sector «Music», applications for contributions can be made to the Foundation for projects which conform to the following selection criteria:

Geographical scope
Concerts in Great Britain and in Switzerland (plus tours in other countries)
Concerts in other countries on condition that there is a relevant British or Swiss involvement

Beneficiaries
Musicians with professional education
Outstandingly qualified amateurs (choirs, wind-instrument ensembles)

Thematic aspects
Productions/concerts (mainly with classical music of all periods)
Institutional stipend/support systems for those with lack of means
Intercultural exchanges
Equipment costs in Third World and Transition countries

In principle, applications for contributions are
not considered for:
purely amateur ensembles (exceptions: choirs, wind-instrument ensembles, under professional direction)
financing of compositions
strongly commercial festivals
orchestra/ensembles regularly receiving public subsidies
recorded productions
infrastructure costs
proposals with a very unfavourable expenditure/income ratio
